At the beginning of July, OUP published a new book by James Ladyman & Don Ross (with contributions from John Collier and David Spurrett) on naturalistic metaphysics, informed largely by current science. They are criticising the armchair way of doing metaphysics, and promoting a science-based account to develop a kind of structural realism. I haven't got my copy yet, but I'm waiting to see the complex systems and information theory parts.
