My department's website does not give much information on our record in placing our M.A. students into Ph.D. programs.  I can at least speak for myself for the benefit of prospective M.A. students in my area (phil. of mind, psychology, neuroscience, computation).  During my first two years at the University of Missouri - St. Louis, I wrote letters of recommendation for four students.  Here is what they are now doing:

1. Ph.D. student at University of Arizona.
2. Ph.D. student at Ohio State University.
3. Ph.D. student at Washington University in St. Louis (also accepted at U Wisconsin - Madison).
4. Ph.D. student at Princeton University (also accepted at Pitt HPS, UCSD, and other places).

Note: all students were admitted with aid; student #4 was not a student at UMSL.

Update [4/16/2008]:
I will add more students (for whom I wrote letters) as they decide where to go for their Ph.D.

5. One undergraduate student will go to the University of Toronto (also accepted elsewhere).
6. One M.A. student will go to the University of Wisconsin - Madison (also accepted at Wash U, U MA - Amherst).
