CALL FOR PAPERS
Papers are invited from postgraduate students on any aspect of the
metaphysics of mind, e.g. psychophysical reduction, multiple realization,
the explanatory gap, physicalism and emergentism, mental causation,
phenomenal consciousness and conceivability arguments. Each session
will be 45 minutes. Presentations should last for 30-35 minutes, leaving
10-15 minutes for discussion.
Submissions in Word or PDF should be extended abstracts, no more
than 1000 words, suitable for blind-refereeing, and accompanied by a
separate document containing personal details. Please email both
documents as attachments to jesper.kallestrup@ed.ac.uk before
1 April 2009. Decisions on which papers have been accepted will be
made by the end of April 2009. Authors of accepted papers will not
have their expenses paid.
FURTHER DETAILS
The conference fee will be either £10 (excluding conference dinner) or
£40 (including conference dinner). Further details about registration,
