Check out Philosophy TV

Philosophy TV is a Bloggingheads kind of deal just for philosophy.  It is run (I think) by some grad students at Wisconsin.  It apparently goes live on September 6 with Peter Singer and Michael Slote. Then on September 9 it is Andy Egan and Josh Knobe.  Alas, it hits a minor bump in the road when Mark Rowlands and I talk about extended cognition on September 16, but I’m sure it will recover.

  1. Hi Ken — thanks for the link!

Our “coming soon” list, like the rest of the site, is still under construction. But we’ll be in business on Sept. 2, and we hope your readers will stop by then.

And yes, Philosophy TV is run by four Wisconsin grad students: John Basl, Jonathan Lang, Brynn Welch, and me.

Loyalty is a myth that people try to achieve these days but with no success. Many strong elements in society prevent people to practice it. Unfortunately if we try different dimensions in life perhaps we can change that sad reality ferris wanli minn abstraction in new dilemma of life. Why not if we can just choose to change our life style to be more successful and assertive, we need to follow our beliefs no matter what the winds of society try to drift our thoughts.
