We are pleased to announce a new episode in our interview series on the philosophical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The rapid development of AI has rekindled interest in fundamental questions of intelligence and agency. Once confined to theoretical discourse, these issues now demand re-evaluation in light of AI’s burgeoning capabilities. This series investigates whether machines can achieve genuine thought and agency. Comprising four interviews spread throughout the year, the second episode will feature David Papineau, Professor of Philosophy of Science at the Department of Philosophy, King’s College London.
