The third annual Kinds of Intelligence conference will be held in Cambridge, UK from June 22-25 2020. The conference brings together researchers from philosophy, cognitive science and artificial intelligence to address questions concerning the structure, function and nature of intelligence and cognition, with a particular emphasis on non-human intelligences – both artificial and biological.
The Call for Abstracts for the conference is now open. Abstracts are welcomed from researchers in working any discipline relevant to the Kinds of Intelligence theme. Abstracts should be around 500 words in length, and should be submitted to kindsofintelligence2020@gmail.com no later than April 15. This year’s conference will open with the Margaret Boden lecture, delivered by Cecilia Heyes (Psychology, Oxford). Other confirmed speakers include:
