Call for Submissions: Workshop on Perception and Justified Belief (Bochum, June 2017)
We invite submissions of extended abstracts for presentation at the workshop. The aim of the workshop is to discuss the relation between perception and justified belief, and issues relevant to the relation. For instance, we are interested in debates concerning:
- cognitive penetration of perception
- content of perception
- dogmatism
- epistemic disjunctivism
- evidential justification
- perceptual knowledge and defeaters
- perceptual justification in general
(Other related topics are also very welcome.)

The workshop „Perception and Justified Belief” is organized by members of the research group „From Perception to Belief and Back Again“ (Ruhr-University Bochum). The workshop will take place in Bochum, Germany, on June 1 and 2, 2017. It will be held at the Beckmannshof of the Ruhr-University Bochum.
If you would like to apply, please submit an extended anonymous abstract of 1000 words (PDF) and a short abstract of 150 words, to Anna-Maria A. Eder (anmaeder@yahoo.de), by March 15, 2017. (Please keep in mind that each presentation will be one hour long, including a 15-minute Q&A session.) The subject line of the email should be: “Submission Perception and Justified Belief”.
Expect results by the end of March 2017.
