This week on Brains, we are happy to host a discussion of the concept of representation in the neural and psychological sciences, centered around Louie Favela and Edouard Machery‘s recent paper, “Investigating the concept of representation in the neural and psychological sciences.” We’ll have a precis of the paper today by Favela (University of Central Florida) and Machery (University of Pittsburgh). Then, on Tuesday and Thursday, we’ll have excellent commentaries from Ben Baker (Colby College) and Inês Hipólito (Macquarie). On Wednesday and Friday, Louie and Edouard will respond to the comments.
